From the sandy warm beaches & magnificent architecture
of Dubai and Abu Dhabi; to serene, peaceful, and mesmerizing beauty of
Himalayas. It was quite a transition not just in terms of terrain but also in
terms of history and culture.
We started our travel streak with Dubai as our first
destination; Dubai is a city that hosts a lot of engineering marvels,
scintillating tall scrappers, and warm beaches. In my view, the best time to
visit Dubai is between November to the first week of April. We landed in Dubai
around 17.00 local time on March 3, and the first thing we had on our mind
was to prepare for the upcoming action-packed days. As we were slightly
exhausted by the time we reached our hotel. We decided to take a short nap
before checking the neighborhood out around our hotel and as a result, we found Saravana Bhavan, where we had hearty dinner. Then we stopped at
the metro station to buy our RTA cards (Nol card); it is a good idea to have your RTA
cards if you are planning to explore the city by yourself instead of a tour
package. You can buy these cards at any metro station and can use them to
access metro, bus, and tram. Now before, I narrate my travel experience in
Dubai. I forgot to tell you about the two unexpected experiences. Firstly, we
received two tourist sim cards at immigration which saved us a few bucks which
we kept aside to buy the sim cards😉.
Secondly, we met Mustafa, a sales executive of The First Group; he allowed
us to learn about the investment opportunity in Dubai by arranging a
presentation at their HQ the very next morning. We accepted the offer to view
the presentation as not every day you get a chance to learn, ‘how can you own a
piece of property in Dubai?’ that too, from the horse’s mouth.
